Coin grading was is and always will be a matter of opinion.  It is the bidder's responsibility to determine condition, and value of the coin or lot.  We grade using ANA guidelines and will always attempt to describe toning, scratches, cleaning or other problems we see.  Property is open to thorough public inspection. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, value or any other determinative factor. We do not necessarily agree with third party certification grades.  Please use your own judgement. Weaver Coin Auction may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Weaver Coin Auction be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. ABSOLUTELY NO COIN RETURNS ON THE BASIS OF GRADE.

Items are sold "AS IS", "WHERE IS" with no guarantees of any kind except for the authenticity of US coins.  We will accept returns on counterfeit coins (which we NEVER intend to sell) or if we made an error in denomination description.  Buyer must contact us within 5 days of receipt of coin to request return as a counterfeit.  On receipt of coin we will verify identity & make necessary refund.  Any coin removed from the original packaging or holder is considered sold & may not be returned. 

Weaver Coin Auction LLC is providing Internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to the Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Weaver Coin Auction LLC or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Weaver Coin Auction LLC will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source.  Weaver Coin Auction LLC reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.

Neither Weaver Coin Auction LLC nor the consignor is responsible or liable for the accuracy of any printed or verbal descriptions.  The auctioneer has the sole right to settle any and all disputed bids and decide whether or not to re-offer a lot.  The record of the auctioneer will be taken as final in the event of any dispute.  Weaver Coin Auction LLC reserves the right to withdraw any lot prior to the auction for any reason.  Weaver Coin Auction LLC is not responsible for any accidents at the auction or as a result of the auction. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject an opening bid that, in his opinion, is not commensurate with the value of the lot.  Lots may carry a reserve-the confidential minimum price set by the consignor below which the lot will not sell.  Should a tie or a dispute arise between two bidders, the auctioneer may, at his discretion, reopen the bidding until the property is sold.  All announcements made on the day of the sale take precedence over printed manner. 

Bidders are responsible for knowing which item they are bidding on.  Bidder should not bid if they are unsure of what they are bidding on.  Once you have won the bid you have affected a contract and will be expected to pay for the item.

Shipping:

Winning bidders are responsible for all shipping, handling, and insurance charges. We do all packaging and shipping in-house and ship USPS with insurance in the amount of your invoice, plus shipping cost and a flat $5.00 handling charge.  We make every effort to ship as inexpensively as possible while still providing adequate protection for your purchases.  We will plan to ship your purchases within 3 days of auction closing.  Please note, the more items you buy generally makes your shipping charges more reasonable. 

Payment instructions:

Visa, MasterCard or Discover accepted thru Auction Payment Network (APN).  We never have possession of your full credit card number.  Your credit card on file will be charged following the auction when your order is ready to ship for: the total of your purchases, appropriate on-line buyer’s premium, $5.00 flat handling fee, shipping, and insurance.  You will receive an emailed invoice from the auction house generally within 48 hours of the auction conclusion.  Credit Card Chargebacks will not be allowed.  We accept PayPal with prompt requests & action from the buyer for that type of payment.
