Terms:
We like to keep things simple. Due to the variety of grading methods and individual opinion we are only able to sell at auction on an "as is" basis.   Many lots are certified.  Our auction company recommends PCGS, NGC, ANACS, & ICG as the most consistent and fair grading companies.  Grading coins is not so easy.  Pay attention to the actual coin. “Buy the coin, not the box” is good advice.  If you are unable to view our online photos of all coins please contact us. Auction service grading is accomplished with ANA descriptions and outside consultation as needed.  Every effort has been made by the auction company and sellers to insure coin authenticity.  Announcements made day of auction take precedence.  Payment at auction may be made by cash, approved check, cashier's check, or credit card (5% handling fee).  New buyers paying by check, proper ID and bank letter required.  Proxibid buyers required to pay by credit card or money order. In-house buyers, no buyer's premium charged.

Absentee Bidding:
Method 1. Please direct absentee bids by phone  or email to Weaver Coin Auction. We require personal identification (name, address, or phone number)  from new email bidders. Absentee bids are accepted up to 24 hours prior to auction start. We will always respond to bids received by email to verify we have received your information.  There is a 5% buyers premium for absentee bidders.  The bidder is not responsible for bidding errors committed by the auction service. We’d like to be mistake-free but at live auction distractions can occur.  We currently accept USA bids only.  We will contact successful bidders within 48 hours.  Payment is expected within 7 days of notification.  Upon receipt of your payment  your purchases will be sent to you by USPS insured at your cost.
